I just finished up an awesome summer of gigs with a whole bunch of bands, incuding my good buddy Mike Benjamin of The Mike Benjamin Band. He lives on Martha's Vineyard and has really developed a beautiful business for himself out there. I met Mike playing with Entrain. He is also an X-train member, like myself (ha ha!) He is an absolutley tremendous singer, guitar player and songwriter and all around awesome guy! Man did we have fun. Driving home from the last gig we did this past Saturday, 9/30/06, we hit a deer in Mike's van. I almost had a heart attack. Mike didn't even flinch. That's what I call fortitude, baby.
